Drawbridge closed to cars for emergency repairs
The unofficial start to summer isn't the ideal time to shut down a drawbridge. But according to the Maryland State Highway Administration emergency repairs on the drawbridge over Bear Creek in Sparrows Point need to be made.

Community reacts to Mars Super Markets closing
Mars Super Markets will close all stores in Maryland, an official said. Mars Super Markets Chairman and CEO Chris D'Anna said in a statement Wednesday that all stores will close by the end of July.
