World War II veteran Bobbie Catalfamo, a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy and captain in the Army, was selected as grand marshall of the Dundalk Memorial Day Parade set for May 30. Engine #147 at Patapsco & Back River Railroad was selected to be the first bicentennial engine. A first for Sparrows Point, and all of Bethlehem Steel, the engine was painted red, white and blue in celebration of the upcoming bicentennial.
