The Baltimore County school system's nearly one dozen Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps programs don't have a formal relationship with the county's many veterans groups, but that doesn't keep students from paying their respects as Veterans Day approaches. On Thursday, Nov. 10, the Marine JROTC program at Chesapeake High School in Essex is scheduled to provide the Color Guard and the Honor Guard for the local VFW's Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Rosedale.
