While I am not a waterfront homeowner, visiting friends living on the waterfront is always a treat! Gov. Larry Hogan deserves a big "thank you" for signing his executive order to address the persistent midge problem along Back River. His executive decision aims to protect and promote waterfront business enterprises and create an improved "midge free" environment which encourages waterfront tourism and recreational activities.
