On Oct. 4, to assist with the Dundalk Renaissance Corporation's "Spruce Up" project, United Way Central Maryland volunteers came to Dundalk and planted flowers, grass and mulch at the homes of residents that wanted the service, for their fifth annual Day of Action. United Way volunteers from different community and local businesses come together each year to create change and improve areas throughout Central Maryland.
