Weighing in about an anchor?

A couple of weeks ago, I republished a What's Up With That? column from 2000 about the anchor that is cemented into the ground outside the main entrance of the Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts. In it, I explained that the anchor had been donated to the school by the Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society in the 1970s to honor the school's proximity to the birthplace of Commodore Joshua Barney, hero of the War of 1812 .
