Early voting begins as presidential primary looms

Jay Jones, an information technology worker for the St. Mary's Board of Elections, performs logic and accuracy testing Friday for a ballot scanner, which will be used in the primary election. Early voting runs from Thursday, April 14, through Thursday, April 21. Primary Election Day in Maryland is Tuesday, April 26. Marylanders will have their say as early voting for the state's presidential primary election begins on Thursday, April 14. Early voting will be open this year from Thursday, April 14, through Thursday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
