State Sen. Johnny Ray Salling and Dels. Robin L. Grammer, Jr. and Ric Metzgar will hold a meet and greet and relief effort to benefit Elliott City on Saturday, Aug. 27, 10 a.m. to noon at the Dundalk Giant Food Store, 1400 Merritt Blvd. During the event, the legislators will collect hand soap, baby wipes, work gloves, contractor trash bags, contractor dust masks, brooms, mops and cleaning supplies to aid the residents of Ellicott City after a devastating flood ravaged the historic town.
