Located at the Observatory on the CCBC Dundalk campus, 7200 Sollers Point Road, the Star Parties will be held on several Fridays through next month, including Oct. 7 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 21 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Nov. 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. "Because of the humidity in this area, the electronics unfortunately get damaged," explained M.J. Clark, assistant professor of astronomy and physics at CCBC.
