A local landmark, the 100-foot-tall-flagpole is once again bearing the stars and stripes near J&K Automotive at North Point Road and Merritt Boulevard. Last Saturday, the local business held a ceremony to dedicate the new flag, now restored to its rightful place since the pole was damaged in a storm three years ago.
