In 1976, The Dundalk Eagle provided full coverage of the bicentennial Independence Day parade and the very first Heritage Fair, then called Heritage 76. Each year, visitors to the Dundalk Heritage Fair receive a program detailing fair festivities and honoring the sponsors that make it possible. These programs usually feature a cover image with a patriotic and/or historical theme.
