A resident of Old Dundalk who held police at bay by threatening to kill himself surrendered after a four-hour standoff on Sunday. Jason J. Kassakatis, 50, of the 2400 block of Fairway, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, handgun on person, handgun in a vehicle, illegal possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to obey a lawful order, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft under $100.00.
