Detours possible on beltway bridge project

Road crews are more than halfway finished a $5.3 million, two-year project to rehabilitate the bridge over Northeast Creek on the outer loop of the Baltimore Beltway, according to highway officials. Built in 1972, the bridge is located north of Dundalk and just south of where the highway splits, with the beltway curving north and MD 702 curving east to Essex.
