Driving down Holabird Ave, Brenda Liptrap said she had an "eerie feeling" when she saw that the Weis Markets sign had replaced the Mars Supermarket sign that had been in place for years. Weis Markets opened on Thursday, Aug. 4, in two Dundalk locations, on Holabird and Wise avenues, filling the space recently vacated by Mars Supermarkets, a family owned grocery store chain that closed down in July.
