"When I first moved in the neighborhood, my neighbor beat me up! Really! And then we got to be best friends, but she beat me up! A girl!" Marion McDonough recalled moving to Esther Place in Highlandtown in the 1940's. Her husband, Tom McDonough, is seated next to her.
