In an effort to connect with local young people, Captain James Scannell of the Dundalk Police Station formed a Police-Youth Council. A group of local residents of all ages came together to clean up Merritt Park and Beach on Aug. 1. The group, dubbed the Dundalk Clean Up Committee, was coordinated with Jeff Ross.
