Court ruling favors residents in Government Center case

The state and a group of Dundalk residents have prevailed, at least for now, in a ruling from the state Court of Special Appeals involving a public-private plan to redevelop the county's North Point Government Center with a mix of stores, restaurants and offices. The Nov. 29 ruling concluded the state Board of Public Works has a regulation that gives it the authority to decide whether former school property at the southeast corner of Wise Avenue and Merritt Boulevard can be transferred to a developer for the plan.
