Four eastern Baltimore County high schools stand to benefit from a pilot program to help head off opioid abuse among students using in-school wellness centers. The Baltimore County Council on Monday accepted a $34,000 grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, passed through Behavioral Health System Baltimore Inc., that will be used to train nurses to counsel students about drugs and refer students who are using drugs to treatment centers.
