Nick Mangold Reportedly Visiting with Ravens in Free Agency

Free-agent center Nick Mangold reportedly arrived in Baltimore on Tuesday for a visit with the Ravens.

According to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley, the veteran is expected to remain in Baltimore through Wednesday.

On Feb. 25, 2017, Mangold was released by the Jets after 11 seasons and seven Pro Bowl appearances.

He missed just four games in his first 10 seasons, but the 2006 first-round pick from Ohio State pick sat out eight contests in 2016 due to an ankle injury.

The Ravens have a hole at center after trading Jeremy Zuttah to the San Francisco 49ers in March. John Urschel and Ryan Jensen are currently atop their depth chart, but they lack experience.

The 33-year-old Mangold has 164 career starts to his credit, and he would be an asset to a Ravens rushing attack that ranked 28th in the NFL last season.
